No payments yet

Nothing on Nixtra is sold. There are no fees, no payouts, no revenue share, no seller accounts and no identity checks. These rules describe a free listing reviewed by hand. If paid packs ever start, separate seller terms will be published first and nothing here promises any income.

How a submission is reviewed

  1. You send the pack. The ways to send it are on the submit page. The file follows the pack format used by this site.
  2. Automatic checks. The validator checks the format and the genome digest. The scan rules on the content policy page run next. A blocking finding goes back to you to fix.
  3. A person reads it. [PLACEHOLDER: name or role of the person who reviews submissions] reads the listing text and every gene against the content policy, and any scan warning.
  4. A decision. We aim to decide within [PLACEHOLDER: N days to decide on a submission]. The answer is list it, change these things, or no, each with a reason. A new version of a pack is reviewed again.
  5. Listing. A listed pack from someone else carries the Community label and shows its version history.

What you confirm when you submit

  • You wrote the pack, or you have the right to share it.
  • It holds rules of behaviour only: no personal data, no secrets, nothing copied from others.
  • Claims about it are true. A quality figure appears only if you measured it and can give the sample size, the interval, the method and the source.
  • If it touches health, legal, finance or HR work, it is marked regulated and its description says a qualified person should review it before use.

Licence and ownership

You keep ownership of your pack. You choose a licence from the list the operator accepts [DECISION: licences a submitter may choose; the proposed default is MSL-1]. By submitting you allow the operator to host and distribute the pack under that licence [DECISION: wording of the licence a submitter gives the operator to host and distribute the pack]. See licences.

Removal and appeals

You can ask for your pack to be removed at any time. If a pack is declined or removed you can appeal by writing to hello@nixtra.tech within [PLACEHOLDER: N days to appeal a decision]. [DECISION: who decides an appeal when there is only one reviewer]. Reports from the public follow the takedown process.
